May 2025

Distributed Antenna System support, doors and windows in floor plans, cell load modeling, and workflow improvements across indoor and outdoor planning.

May brings Distributed Antenna System support, doors and windows in floor plans, cell load modeling, and a raft of workflow improvements across indoor and outdoor planning.

New

Distributed Antenna System (DAS) Planning

Design and evaluate DAS installations end-to-end: place antennas, route cables, assign signal sources, and run coverage heatmaps across your layout. DAS elements appear with names in exported reports, giving you a complete record of the design alongside your AP-based infrastructure. Learn more

Doors and Windows in Floor Plans

Place doors and windows directly in walls so your propagation model accounts for the openings in your building fabric. Signal paths now pass through glazing and doorways rather than treating every wall as solid, giving you more accurate indoor coverage predictions without manual workarounds. Learn more

Cell Load Interference Modeling

Set a cell load factor per AP to include load-based interference in your SINR calculations. Designs that look clean at zero load can reveal real-world coverage gaps at realistic utilization, so you can right-size capacity before deployment. Learn more

Inventory Export and Import

Export your AP and antenna inventory to a file and import it into another project. Re-use a vetted equipment list across sites without re-entering every model and configuration by hand. Learn more

Coverage Area Resize

Expand or redefine the coverage area of an existing project and have all layout objects, obstructions, and floor geometry update to match automatically. Rescoping a deployment no longer means starting the layout from scratch. Learn more

Circle Coverage Zones

Draw circular coverage areas in addition to polygons, useful for open-plan spaces or outdoor sectors where a radius better matches the intended service boundary. Learn more

Select / Deselect All

Select or clear all elements in the current view in one click, making bulk moves, deletions, and property edits faster on dense layouts. Learn more

Improved

  • Max transmit power ceiling raised to 75 dBm, covering higher-power outdoor and DAS equipment.
  • Minimum zoom extended so large campus or multi-building layouts fit comfortably on screen.
  • Copying a project now carries over cable routes, feedthroughs, and multi-floor AP-to-IDF assignments.
  • Site survey data renders faster on large walk-test datasets, reducing wait time when reviewing results.
  • AP model data refreshes automatically after an antenna import, keeping displayed specs in sync.
  • Cable lengths update in real time as you reposition connected equipment on the canvas.
  • In-app help links now point to the Knowledge Base for faster access to documentation.

Fixed

  • EIRP calculations now reflect correct per-carrier transmit power values.
  • NR PCI assignments now accept the full 0–1007 range. LTE remains 0–503.
  • 3D obstruction rendering in multi-floor projects now displays correctly.

Plus other fixes and improvements across the platform.

Correction, July 16, 2026: This entry previously said “up to 1007” without identifying NR. PCI ranges are technology-specific: LTE is 0–503 and NR is 0–1007.
