Release notes for July 31, 2026.

This release adds crowd-sourced macro coverage, Wi-Fi HaLow and Public Safety network support, FloorPlan scan import, AI design validation, ray path analysis, AGV route QoS, and control-plane connection management, alongside broad improvements to bulk editing, undo/redo, reporting, and noise-model accuracy.

New

Projects

FloorPlan Scan Import

Import an eino FloorPlan scan and get a fully editable, simulation-ready layout for each scanned floor in seconds, with walls, doors, windows, and openings placed parametrically from the scan geometry. No manual scaling or AI detection step is needed. Learn more

Design

Wi-Fi HaLow (IEEE 802.11ah) Support

Plan Wi-Fi HaLow networks end-to-end: place APs manually or with AI, run heatmaps, generate reports and bills of materials, and apply design criteria, all within the same workflow used for Wi-Fi, Cellular, and LoRa. A new single-source technology list keeps HaLow available consistently across every picker, filter, and import surface.

Public Safety / ERRCS Network Planning

Design in-building Public Safety (ERRCS) networks as a first-class technology alongside Wi-Fi and DAS, with downlink heatmaps powered by the DAS placement engine.

Ray Path Analysis and AGV Route QoS

Confirm coverage quality before deployment with two additions to the Client Performance panel. Ray Path Analysis renders the line-of-sight, reflection, and diffraction paths from a placed client in 2D and 3D, with a per-segment energy breakdown so you can pinpoint exactly where signal is lost. Route QoS lets you draw AGV paths, configure speed, fleet size, and handover parameters, then read coverage, roaming, and capacity verdicts directly in the panel and in the report.

Simulation & Heatmaps

Crowd-Sourced Macro Coverage

Bring real-world operator signal data into your project without a drive test. Acquire indoor or outdoor crowd-sourced RSRP coverage for a chosen operator through the new Data Import hub, then render it as a Macro RSRP heatmap layer alongside your simulated results to validate in-building coverage against live network conditions. Monitoring & AI

Control-Plane Connection Management

Configure and manage per-site control-plane connections (Celona and Mist) directly in the Diagnostics tab, with live status, ingestion toggle, and add/edit flows, so you can wire up monitoring without leaving the platform.

AI Design Validation

Run an AI-powered review of your active design from the AI assistant panel. Supply a use-case description and get an overall verdict with per-category findings across scene, hardware, and coverage, giving you a structured second opinion before a project goes to a customer.

Improved

Get Started

  • Contextual quick help: every major panel and selector now has an in-context "?" guide covering KPIs, model limits, and a link to the matching Knowledge Base article.

Projects

  • Indoor layout geolocation: set or edit the geographic anchor of an indoor layout after creation, directly from the layout context menu.

Design

  • Middle-mouse pan: drag with the middle mouse button to pan the canvas in the design editor, compare view, and riser diagram, matching the convention of Revit, Blender, and Figma.
  • 3D antenna radiation patterns: a new scene layer renders the full 3D gain lobe at every sector that has an antenna model, replacing the flat sector wedge in 3D so azimuth, beamwidth, and tilt are all visible at once.
  • Bulk AP configuration: select multiple APs with marquee, shift-click, or "Select all" and apply a shared configuration in one step, including a diff view that highlights which settings currently differ across the selection.
  • Undo/redo: now available to all signed-in users, with no access-control grant required.
  • Design criteria profiles: profile ownership is now surfaced clearly, so read-only profiles (from teammates or cross-team collaborators) cannot be accidentally overwritten, and default KPI thresholds for all non-Wi-Fi technologies are corrected to physically meaningful values.

Simulation & Heatmaps

  • OptiX ray tracer: the classic (Numba) ray tracer is retired; all projects run on the OptiX engine automatically, and the engine selector is removed from Design Settings.
  • Elevation contour lines: Terrain mode now draws contour lines derived from the project's own DEM, in both 2D and 3D, so you can read height structure on flat or featureless sites.
  • Ray Path Analysis availability: ray path analysis is now available to all users with the path inspector access grant, with no per-deployment build flag required.

Validate & Report

  • Interactive shared reports: shared report links now include a public interactive viewer with section navigation, print/interactive toggle, and PDF export, matching the in-app experience.
  • 3D view in reports: reports can now include a 3D render of the project at a fixed camera angle, showing the same layers, scale, and heatmap as the design editor.

Monitoring & AI

  • My Devices live state: the device inventory shows real-time agent mode, online status, last-seen time, and per-WAN connectivity, with a mode-control dropdown that guards Monitoring activation until the device is assigned and placed.

Plus other fixes and improvements across the platform.
