Richer walk-test analysis, off-thread outdoor heatmaps, a project usage dashboard, IFC/BIM import, and device-driven planning defaults.
The first half brings richer walk-test analysis, faster and off-thread outdoor heatmaps, project usage insights, and device-driven planning defaults.
New
Projects
Project Usage Dashboard
Review project activity across your team from a new Usage tab: a map of all project locations, charts of projects created by type and technology over time, and time-to-milestone distributions showing how long projects typically take from creation to first AP placement and first deliverable. IFC/BIM File Import
Import walls, doors, and windows directly from an IFC file to start a project from your BIM model without redrawing the floor plan. Learn more
Improved
Design
- Cellular AP placement heights now pre-fill from hardware defaults and layout context (indoor ceiling height, outdoor pole height).
- Antenna height and placement fields moved to the Antennas tab for all non-DAS technologies, with cleaner inheritance from the AP.
- Geo-mapped satellite imagery on indoor projects now renders once in original color, cropped to the analysis area in 2D and projected onto the ceiling in 3D.
- Pick a point-to-point receiver from CPEs already placed in your outdoor layout instead of re-entering coordinates.
- Pre-fill the UE settings panel from a catalog of common device classes with per-technology RF characteristics.
Simulation & Heatmaps
- Outdoor heatmap computation moved off the main thread, reducing freezes on large layouts during heatmap load and zoom.
- Map tile materials now cache across zoom levels, eliminating the shader rebuild that caused stuttering when zooming outdoor projects.
Validate & Report
- Report heatmaps now match your design-tab visibility settings exactly, including hardware scale, antenna opacity, and label toggles.
- Large-format reports now support a one-heatmap-per-page layout option in addition to the 2x2 grid.
- Walk-test sessions are now scoped to the active project and floor, so the session list shows only relevant sessions without selecting a device first.
- Select a specific 5 GHz or 2.4 GHz target when starting a Wi-Fi walk-test on a Peplink device.
- Adds a walk-test PCI dominance heatmap to spot co-channel interference and handoff issues.
Plus other fixes and improvements across the platform.
