June 2025

Doors and windows for indoor floor plans, finer control over map labels and hardware sizing, expanded KMZ exports, and modeling and rendering improvements.

June brings doors and windows to indoor floor plans, finer control over map labels and hardware sizing, expanded KMZ exports, and a wave of modeling and rendering improvements across indoor and outdoor planning.

New

Doors and Windows in Floor Plans

Model openings in your walls so that RF propagation accounts for actual building construction, not just solid barriers. Add doors and windows directly to your floor plan, assign each one a width and height, and the simulation mesh automatically cuts the openings into the surrounding wall. Learn more

Adjustable Door and Window Widths

Fine-tune each door or window opening individually after placing it, so your floor plan matches the real building dimensions and your coverage predictions reflect the actual RF paths through those openings. Learn more

Circle Tool for Obstructions

Draw circular obstruction zones on your floor plan with a dedicated circle tool, giving you a faster way to mark columns, pillars, and round obstacles without approximating them with polygons. Learn more

Per-Element Label Controls and Hover Labels

Control label visibility independently for hardware antennas, pins, and receivers, rather than toggling all labels at once. When labels are hidden, hovering over any element still shows its label, so you can identify components quickly without cluttering the map. Learn more

Scalable Hardware Components

Resize APs, DAS antennas, and other hardware components on the canvas to match the visual scale of your floor plan, making large multi-AP layouts easier to read and review with stakeholders. Learn more

Antennas in KMZ Export

Antenna locations are now included when exporting a project to KMZ, so your exported file reflects the full planned deployment and can be opened directly in Google Earth or any KMZ-compatible tool. Learn more

AI-Assisted AP Placement Estimate

Get an AI-generated AP count and placement estimate for indoor spaces, giving you a fast starting point for a new project before committing to a full simulation run. Learn more

Improved

  • Outdoor coverage estimates now apply threshold and percentage parameters correctly for more accurate results.
  • Outdoor propagation model updated with improved terrain, clutter, and percent-area coverage accuracy.
  • Floor-level simulation results update immediately when switching between floors on multi-floor projects.
  • CSV export filters out unnamed networks, keeping exported data clean and ready to use.
  • DWG floor plan extraction handles edge cases more reliably, reducing stalls on large or complex drawings.
  • Door, wall, and obstruction rendering improved for more accurate on-screen geometry.
  • Single sign-on session state kept in sync, so logging out of one part of the platform logs you out everywhere.

Fixed

  • Share with collaborators modal now scrolls correctly on long collaborator lists.

Plus other fixes and improvements across the platform.
